Air Transport in United Arab Emirates : Annual Passenger Counts

The "Air Transportation, Passengers Carried" indicator refers to the total number of passengers traveling by air during a year. This indicator includes all passengers carried on commercial flights, including domestic and international flights. The chart shows the number of air transportation passengers carried in the United Arab Emirates from 2009 to 2021. In some years, the number of air transportation passengers reached up to 95 million annually. However, due to the global COVID-19 crisis, this number significantly decreased to 26 million in 2020. In 2021, the number of passengers increased slightly to 28 million.
