Air Transport in Bahrain : Annual Passenger Counts

The "Air Transportation, Passengers Carried" indicator refers to the total number of passengers traveling by air during a year. This indicator includes all passengers carried on commercial flights, including domestic and international flights. The chart shows the number of air transportation passengers carried in Bahrain from 2009 to 2021. the number of air transportation passengers reached up to 6 million annually in some years. However, due to the global COVID-19 crisis, this number significantly decreased to 1.45 million in 2020. In 2021, the number of passengers increased slightly to 1.84 million.
