Omar bin Sultan Al Olama

Omar bin Sultan Al Olama is the UAE Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence, Digital Economy, and Remote Work Applications. Appointed in 2017 as the world’s first AI minister, he leads the UAE’s digital transformation efforts. He also serves as Director General of the Prime Minister’s Office and holds key leadership roles in AI, digital economy, and future governance initiatives. With a focus on AI strategy, innovation, and competitiveness, he has spearheaded major national programs. He holds a Bachelor's in Business Administration and a Diploma in Project Management and Excellence.
