Amna bint Abdullah Al Dahak Al Shamsi

Amna bint Abdullah Al Dahak Al Shamsi is the UAE Minister of Climate Change and Environment, leading initiatives on climate action, food security, and the Net Zero 2050 Strategy. She chaired the National Greening Education Committee at COP28 and was a key figure in climate education efforts. Previously, she served as Assistant Undersecretary at the Ministry of Education and was the UAE Government Spokesperson during COVID-19. She holds a Ph.D. in Computer Engineering and has an academic background in AI and robotics. She is also a member of key environmental and climate councils in the UAE.
