AbdulRahman Bin Mohamed Al Owais

AbdulRahman Bin Mohamed Al Owais is the UAE’s Minister of Health and Prevention and Minister of State for Federal National Council Affairs. He has served in the UAE government since 2006, previously leading the Ministry of Culture, Youth, and Community Development. He officially became Minister of Health in 2013, expanding his role to focus on disease prevention and healthcare regulation. Al Owais also chairs the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque Center and the Sheikh Hamdan Bin Rashid Award for Medical Sciences. He holds a B.Sc. in Accounting and Information Systems from UAE University.
