Gross ODA Aid Disbursements for STD Control in Tanzania, Uganda, and Kenya (2002–2011)

Gross Official Development Assistance (ODA) aid disbursements for STD control are financial contributions provided by donor countries to support developing nations in their efforts to prevent and treat sexually transmitted diseases (STDs). This aid is crucial for enhancing public health infrastructure, providing medical supplies, and supporting educational programs that raise awareness about STD prevention and treatment. The goal of these disbursements is to reduce the spread of STDs and improve sexual health outcomes in countries where resources are limited. In the East African countries of Tanzania, Uganda, and Kenya, the highest amount of ODA aid disbursed for STD control was over $4 billion in 2011 for Kenya.
